I wore this outfit two weeks ago to M’s nephew’s birthday party. I curled my hair for the event, because I didn’t want to have the same old hairstyle I always wear (actually, I have three that I rotate: hair down, hair in a pony tail or a side braid). I centered this outfit around the bag. It’s from Skinny Dip and it’s the ice cream clutch. Doesn’t fit much but it’s super cute anyways.

Either shoes that I own or that I’m lusting for, this category is dedicated to pretty footwear.

Gingham Midi
Usually I’m all about the short skirts and mini-dresses (especially in combination with black opaque tights) but come the warm weather, I also gravitate towards comfortable carefree midi lengths. This skirt in particular is a favorite of mine, it’s from Topshop and I absolutely adore it (the gingham print, the style and cut, the material, it’s all good.)
Gridded perfection
This is the outfit I wore to my sister’s birthday celebration, which was almost two weeks ago. It was a lovely hot day (not like now, sorry toĀ be complaining but summer so far has been rainy and cold) and I wore one of my favorite dresses. It’s from Oasis and you’ve seen it before (here and here). I particularly like this dress because I find it super easy to style.

Current Favorites
Sometimes I wear an outfit that consists of favorite pieces and it makes that outfit really special. I have a lot of “favorites” but these are favorites in the truest sense. The shoes are from Melissa (definitely my favorite shoe brand ever) and they are the tangerine bow flats (I also have them in black and in yellow). I wear the black ones the most but I think these red ones are my favorite. Something about red shoes just makes me instantly happy.

WIW: all black
Just a quick post today (where has allĀ the time gone??), but here’s a recent (the weekend before last) outfit photo. M and I went food shopping and I wore a simple all-black outfit featuring these much-worn Melissa shoes (they used to be one of my most worn pig walking shoes actually).
There’s really not that much I can say about this outfit, just some really old pieces and comfy clothes. The only interesting thing was that I put in some effort with my hair do (or more effort than usually) as I braided my fringe (I’m sort of growing it out now, not sure what I will do with it yet). Anyways, here’s to a productive work week and see you tomorrow.
