A Year’s Sabbatical

winter-prague-2017

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Not exactly a year, but pretty damn close.

Some great things happened, some pretty fucked up things happened, and yet the majority has remained quite the same.

We went on our annual summer London holiday in 2016 but also visited Scotland (Edinburgh and Glasgow) and then we changed things up this year by visiting London already in January, so we won’t visit in the summer this year. It’s bittersweet in a way – I loved having the opportunity of going in January but will miss  London in July. Totally breaking my heart, I should just move there and finally be happy. We went to Vienna in December (also an annual trip, we really are rather predictable). That’s probably it, vacation wise.  We have an extremely awesome vacation destination this Spring and I am so excited, I announced it on my instagram, back when we booked the flights. I’m already planning what to wear!

Speaking of Spring, I cannot wait for winter to be finished! As much as I like layering and cute coats and boots, I’m totally over it now. The outfit above was from January first. I’ve been wearing a lot of similar looks – my winter wear uniform consists of warm boots (it’s cold in Prague!), skinny jeans, a warm coat, and an oversized scarf.

Outfit details:

Hunter boots, H&M skinny jeans, Asos coat, Topshop scarf (current favorite!), H&M sweater, Pull&Bear bag, Next gloves, Zara hat (super old)
