Files of new: shoes

Today I want to share with you two new pairs of shoes, the most recent additions to my shoe collection.

reebok skyscape harmonyThe first pair are these Reebok Skyscape Harmony slip-on trainers that are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. They may not be the most beautiful pair I have but they make up for it by being so good to my feet. M bought them for me in preparation for our July holiday (there is always so much walking on our holidays and my feet need all the help they can get. I am in between sizes and have a very high arch so finding comfortable walking shoes for me isn’t the easiest thing.) I’ve already worn them a couple of times and have one outfit post to show you in a future post.

The next pair is a lot more fun.

My kind of date

Last Friday M and I went to one of our favorite restaurants Prosecco to celebrate our monthly anniversary. I went with a more relaxed look, I haven’t been too much into heels lately. (Especially since I was almost running late.) I wore these quilted gold flats from Topshop.topshop quilted gold flat shoes

And I finally wore my new Zara dress that I bought in Rome.

zara fitted mini dressSeriously, this dress is surprisingly difficult to wear. It is super short and requires laid back styling. In the end I quite like this outfit, it’s not my favorite ever, but it was nice and I had fun wearing it, which is my biggest criteria when it comes to clothes.

Fishkus Fest

Last weekend M and I and some friends went to a seafood festival (as most of you know, I don’t eat meat but I do eat some seafood.) The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. And so I had some fun with my outfit:

IMG_7411My theme was center around a play on black and white, the monochrome look is still a favorite for me but I mixed things up a bit by wearing one black and one white Melissa Barbie Stiletto print ultragirl flat shoe. When I bought them in 2011 I first bought the white pair and then right away I knew I needed the black pair too in order to do this mixed and matched look.

Fast Food Chic

IMG_7404Hey everyone, today I have a really fun outfit for you. I wore it last week when we went out to dinner. The whole theme was centered around this clutch bag. I’ve had it for a while but had yet to wear it. It’s the New Look burger clutch (in my mind, mine is a bean burger fyi). The clutch is really interesting with a lot of fun details and different fabrics, I’d say it is pretty good quality but it doesn’t hold that much. Usually I can fit my phone (without its phone case though), a few cards/IDs, some money (no wallet though, my wallet is huuuuge) and tissue papers (one of the most important items in my bag!) and then my keys and that’s about it. So like I said, not much.

Mad Max: Furry Road

IMG_7386Last week on Thursday M and I went to see the Mad Max: Fury Road film and we both loved it. It was predictably action packed, which is what we were hoping for, and Charlize Theron is so good in it (so is Tom Hardy, but I really feel the film is all about Furiosa, such a great character btw). I’m pretty sure we’re going to go see it again as it’s one of those films that are better on the big screen. I wore my Stradivarius studded flat ankle boots, because I felt that they were suitable for this film. I love dressing according to the movies we are about to go see. You know, theoretically, if I were to appear in the movie, I wouldn’t want to be wearing heels.stradivarius Flat leather ankle boots with studs Continue reading Mad Max: Furry Road

Me and My Unicorn

orange headOkay, first of all, I want to say this is my favorite photo of me in a long time and it’s kind of funny that it is since you can’t see my face. But the reason why I love it so much is because it is so ME. This is who I am. I’m the wacky kooky girl that poses with a orange slice shaped seat cushion in a parking lot after having gone food shopping. Yes, I wore this gorgeous outfit to go food shopping. Over dressed? Definitely but it was a state holiday (last Friday) and I had some time to have fun with my outfit and I went with M, so I had someone to take my photo. Most of my daily outfits don’t get documented because all of my photos are iphone photos and I usually need someone (M) to take my picture. That aside, though I do love the silliness of the orange seat cushion, I really love this outfit by itself too.

You may recall these shoes from my things I bought in Rome post, they are flat ballerina shoes with cut-outs from Zara.

Dinner Date Lantern Dress

IMG_7313After returning from Rome, M was in a bit of a mood as he hates returning home from holiday (I’m the complete opposite, I love going back home because I miss my bed, I miss my closet, I miss my pets, friends and family) and he didn’t want to stay at home so we went out to have dinner inevitably watch the hokey (Prague and Ostrava are hosting this year’s hokey world championship). I wore an easy outfit. I started out with picking this dress to wear. It’s from Asos and is a structured scuba dress, it is the most comfiest thing ever! I’ve worn it I think twice before but never got pictures and then I was saving it to wear to someplace special. And then I thought, forget saving it! Wear it now and enjoy it!

Rome… Again?!

Are you sick of Rome yet? I hope not but this will be the last Rome themed post for a while, I promise. Today I’m sharing with you our first Roman Holiday, when we visited Rome in September 2012.

3397_10151083901643927_13804405_nWe had three days in Rome and M managed to fit everything into our holiday (it was a bit too much actually, M is a bit of a slave-driver when we are on holiday and at one point my foot was bleeding from a bad blister and he was like “stop stalling, walk faster, we have to see this and this” and I was just dying. Admittedly he had warned me to wear different shoes but still! This time around we had a more relaxing holiday and I was very thankful!)
