Our trip to Berlin lasted 5 days, from Friday morning when we took the train from Prague to Berlin until Tuesday morning, when we once again boarded the train and headed home. The train takes about 4 and a half hours to get from one place to the other so it’s not so bad. After we arrived in Berlin we each purchased a Berlin Welcome card (it serves as a discount card to some attractions and also as a metro card). We then headed to our hotel to drop off our luggage and then went to have a late lunch at this really good falafel restaurant (Dada Falafel), which was right next to our hotel. Next we went to see the Botticelli exhibition at the Gemalde Galerie. Outfit wise, the majority of our vacation I wore these classic Toms in red. Love these shoes!

London holiday: Bohemia Lounge
The time has finally come to share my London holiday. We arrived on Thursday, took the train from the airport and then went to our hotel. We had dinner at an Italian restaurant and then we went to one of our favorite London hang-outs: the Bohemia Lounge bar. This place is bloody amazing with the best cocktails ever!
Boho-edged
Another belated pre-London vacation post, this time featuring a dress turned skirt DIY item. It was originally from Stradivarius, it is really old (bought like 7 years ago?) and since I turned it from a dress into a skirt shortly after purchasing it. I think I wore it as a dress only once as maxi dresses aren’t really my thing. While I like them on others, they very rarely feel like my style. (Currently in my dress collection I have two maxi dresses, both very old but I do occasionally wear them.) So I decided to turn it into a skirt and have worn it a few times, I prefer it like a skirt and am glad that I made the change (if I recall correctly, the dress was really hard to get into anyways).
I wore an old necklace, also from Stradivarius if I’m not mistaking. This look felt both relaxed with a slight boho vibe but at the same time with a slight edginess to it. I think the maxi skirt with the see-through fabric just does that on it’s own, the exposed yet covered juxtaposition.
Neutral
This outfit came together on the basis of pairing neutrals together, I wanted to wear this beige dress (I’ll edit this post on Friday to add the product photos) and thought it looked good with the brown jacket and the studded accessories. The dress was ordered on Asos (about three years ago) and the brand is called Angel Eye London. My belt is super old and from H&M and it came with a skirt, I love this belt and wear it very often. My jacket is from Express and my shoes are Zara. The outfit is from the 20th of June, I’ve been a bit behind on blogging. I wore it to the cinema to see Jurassic World. The movie was okay, I like the actors in it so that helped. Definitely wouldn’t go see it again but was a fun night. And I ship Owen and Claire. ❤️
I’m currently on holiday in London so that makes things even more hectic than usual with the blogging and all. But so far my holiday has been very nice. I’ll be posting about it on Friday probably. I have a few more belated outfit posts to show you until then…
I Want to Fly Away
I wore this outfit two weeks ago to M’s nephew’s birthday party. I curled my hair for the event, because I didn’t want to have the same old hairstyle I always wear (actually, I have three that I rotate: hair down, hair in a pony tail or a side braid). I centered this outfit around the bag. It’s from Skinny Dip and it’s the ice cream clutch. Doesn’t fit much but it’s super cute anyways.
Gridded perfection
This is the outfit I wore to my sister’s birthday celebration, which was almost two weeks ago. It was a lovely hot day (not like now, sorry to be complaining but summer so far has been rainy and cold) and I wore one of my favorite dresses. It’s from Oasis and you’ve seen it before (here and here). I particularly like this dress because I find it super easy to style.
Current Favorites
Sometimes I wear an outfit that consists of favorite pieces and it makes that outfit really special. I have a lot of “favorites” but these are favorites in the truest sense. The shoes are from Melissa (definitely my favorite shoe brand ever) and they are the tangerine bow flats (I also have them in black and in yellow). I wear the black ones the most but I think these red ones are my favorite. Something about red shoes just makes me instantly happy.

Scenic Mountain
Hello everyone, sorry about being so spacy this week. To top it off, I wore some really great outfits to work this week and didn’t get a single photo, arrgh. But here’s an outfit from this past weekend, from Sunday when M and I went to his parents’ house for lunch. I wore my scenic mountain print dress, a sweater coat I bought in Vienna, my new Rome bag and these old Zara Woman leather ballerina flats with an interesting brooch detail on the front.
Mustache slippers
This outfit is from a weekend when M and I and some friends went out to lunch, then we went to this little choco-cafe place called “U Cervene zidle” for dessert. Then we all went to the Prague Rum Fest (a rum festival) because M really wanted to go. And after that we went to have dinner, so it was a really busy day! My outfit was centered around comfort with a bit of style. I went with flats as I knew there would be loads of walking involved. I haven’t worn these Zara mustache green velvet slipper shoes in ages!
