This outfit is from about two weeks ago – I have a bit of a backlog of photos going on as I haven’t been posting much lately. Sorry! I’ll hopefully be posting more these days. Anyways, M and I went to see the Mad Max film again and this is the outfit I wore.
These shoes are the Melissa Pop Heart flats in red. I love this style of Melissa shoes, especially because of the heart detail.
I also have the heeled version of these, which I do love, but sometimes I just want to wear flats and not have to think about my shoes at all (* although, that’s not completely true. A few days ago I was wearing a pair of H&M flats and as I was running to catch the bus, one of my shoes flew off. I still caught the bus but it was super embarrassing. At least I got a good laugh from it.)
If you’re wondering about the title of this post, well, as I was waiting for M to get home from work and I decided to do a Furiosa inspired make-up look to wear to the cinema. I thought it looked pretty good too! But M came home and was all like “what’s that on your face?” and he didn’t think it was the right look for a cinema date/
I was pretty bummed because I thought it looked okay and I felt like a bandit, which is never a bad thing. So I removed and redid my make-up in record time (literally in less than five minutes) and we headed out. As for the outfit, I chose the shoes first and then the dress (super old Bershka tulle dress) , as for accessories I just picked pieces that would easily work with both (old Topshop heart shaped earrings, red pashmina scarf, Asos lip-shaped make-up bag turned clutch, favorite Zara fake leather jakcet). I put my hair in a bun and that was it.
I still need to see Mad Max. Saturday, I think! 🙂
I hope you like it!:))
Haha, men just don’t like makeup that they can see! It looked fab though and bold. That first photo, you look ridiculously pretty.
