Sorry for being such a bad blogger but it seems that there never is enough time (yet strangely there IS time for reading large amounts of fan fiction regarding a particular pair that I ship, but each to their own). I have a stupid exam next week, one which I am in no way prepared for (typical) and so I should be spending all of my time studying. However, given that I have ignored this blog for way too long, I back with an Outfit August post.

Neutral
This outfit came together on the basis of pairing neutrals together, I wanted to wear this beige dress (I’ll edit this post on Friday to add the product photos) and thought it looked good with the brown jacket and the studded accessories. The dress was ordered on Asos (about three years ago) and the brand is called Angel Eye London. My belt is super old and from H&M and it came with a skirt, I love this belt and wear it very often. My jacket is from Express and my shoes are Zara. The outfit is from the 20th of June, I’ve been a bit behind on blogging. I wore it to the cinema to see Jurassic World. The movie was okay, I like the actors in it so that helped. Definitely wouldn’t go see it again but was a fun night. And I ship Owen and Claire. ❤️
I’m currently on holiday in London so that makes things even more hectic than usual with the blogging and all. But so far my holiday has been very nice. I’ll be posting about it on Friday probably. I have a few more belated outfit posts to show you until then…

Mad Max: Furry Road
Last week on Thursday M and I went to see the Mad Max: Fury Road film and we both loved it. It was predictably action packed, which is what we were hoping for, and Charlize Theron is so good in it (so is Tom Hardy, but I really feel the film is all about Furiosa, such a great character btw). I’m pretty sure we’re going to go see it again as it’s one of those films that are better on the big screen. I wore my Stradivarius studded flat ankle boots, because I felt that they were suitable for this film. I love dressing according to the movies we are about to go see. You know, theoretically, if I were to appear in the movie, I wouldn’t want to be wearing heels.

Age of Ultron
Before we went on our Roman holiday we went to see the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie on Thursday night. I had been so excited to see this film, waiting impatiently to see it for months. Anyways, truth be told, I was a tad disappointed. The script felt a little too all over the place, it had way too many characters and subplots to be a coherent story, and though I would have been a fan of the Black Widow/ Hulk relationship, it felt very forced (and the ending of that kind of sucked). I loved the first Avengers movie (we went to see it twice in the cinema because it was so good) but this one fell a bit short. I would see it again but not in theaters. However, I’m still a fan of the franchise and will go see the other movies when they come out. Anyways, here’s what I wore.
Worst Nightmare
A few days ago M and I went to see Fast & Furious 7. I had on a really cute outfit and I went all matchy-matchy. (My shoes were coordinated with the details on my satchel bag, and went well with my wool blazer, my dress matched the main color of the bag, my tights were black as was my cardigan and my pashmina scarf. It was all good.) As we were headed for the garage to get our car and go to the cinema, I heard this noise (like if my shoe was stuck on something and then popped away) but I didn’t notice anything and we went to the cinema. When we got there and on the way to get our tickets, the same thing happened with the other shoe. This time I paid more attention and then I realized that my sole (actually both of the soles) had become unattached from the shoe! Bloody hell! Literally one of my worst nightmares!! Both of my shoes were hanging on only at the toe part of the shoe! It was very difficult to walk (as I was worried the whole thing would come off and I’d trip and die.) We had a little over 15 minutes before the movie was supposed to begin so M went to get tickets and I went to Aldo to buy some shoes. I ended up buying the shoes pictured in the photo below (I didn’t manage to get outfit photos before.)
An unexpected movie date
This outfit is from Sunday evening when my bestie convinced us to go out and see a movie. They weren’t playing anything I wanted to see and because anything is better than going to go see a modern Czech movie (old Czech movies are awesome, new Czech movies are THE WORST), we ended up going to see American Sniper. I knew M wanted to see it but I wasn’t really interested and had quite a bit of prejudice against the film to begin with but in the end I was happy to have seen it. It’s definitely one-sided and obviously pro-war, but the film doesn’t pretend to be something different. I would be interested in having a look at the book (American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History) just to see how much of the movie is according to the book and what was changed. Now on to the outfit.
Starting with the shoes. These are the Melissa Ultragirl flats that I got as a gift from M’s parents (last time I wore them here). I thought it would be interesting to mix pink with lime, I had picked the dress out first.
Happy Chappie
A few days ago M and I went to see the film “Chappie” and this is what I wore. It was a simple outfit as we had decided to go to the cinema last minute. My bestie stopped by at my flat earlier in the day and I gave her some clothes I was selling on Vinted (a bright pink winter coat and a few dresses) and some other dresses that I had in storage and hadn’t worn in ages. Anyways, amongst the dresses I gave away there were about three leopard print dresses and that definitely inspired me to wear this Asos leopard print dress that I had bought not long ago (about a month or two ago).

Kingsman
Last week M and I went to see the Kingsman film and I thought it was brilliant. I LOVED it! Colin Firth was amazing (seeing Mr. Darcy kicking ass was just perfect, really.) Anyways, for the occasion I decided to dress smart, as a kingsman would.
OA6: Cinema Date
Another rare up-to-date photo! This outfit was from last night when M and I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy. The film was okay and I thought Rocket was just adorable, obviously, now I want a raccoon. But back to the outfit…
