OA: Pink Flowers

IMG_8515This outfit is from the beginning of August, when it was still lovely sunny weather in Prague and extremely hot out. M and I and some friends went to the river side to hang out. It’s actually not the easiest thing to pick an outfit when it is so hot outside but I quite liked this one. I went with these cute jelly sandals. You all know I LOVE jelly shoes and these are one of the few pairs that I have that are NOT from the brand Melissa. These are Ted Baker and they are the Aster bow sandals.

Happy Chappie

IMG_6480A few days ago M and I went to see the film “Chappie” and this is what I wore. It was a simple outfit as we had decided to go to the cinema last minute. My bestie stopped by at my flat earlier in the day and I gave her some clothes I was selling on Vinted (a bright pink winter coat and a few dresses) and some other dresses that I had in storage and hadn’t worn in ages. Anyways, amongst the dresses I gave away there were about three leopard print dresses and that definitely inspired me to wear this Asos leopard print dress that I had bought not long ago (about a month or two ago).

Cheers

CheersI teased you with this outfit not long ago and guess what, I finally downloaded the photos from my phone onto my computer. I wore this outfit on December 21st to an anni dinner with M. (We have this silly but totally sweet tradition that we celebrate our mini-anniversary every month by having a fancy dinner.) I had just received this fabulous bag a few days before and couldn’t wait to wear it out. I have become quite a clutch fan this past year and this is definitely one of my favorite.

Leopard Print Flats

blink mouse leopard printSo, leopard print flats are one of my favorite types of flat shoes. I think they can take an outfit further than regular black flats, which I otherwise would constantly be wearing. The shoes pictured above are one of my favorites. They are by Blink and I love the cutesy bow and mouse face on the toe of the shoes – just adorable. You’ve seen them on this blog before:

Leopard Print Heels

Yesterday’s shoe purchase post got me thinking about leopard print shoes. Leo print is one of my all-time favorites on shoes. It is almost a “neutral” in my book. I counted that I have 29 pairs of leopard print shoes in my current collection. Anyways, I thought it would  be nice to do a sort of tribute to/flashback of my leopard print shoes.

Let’s start with one of my favorites:

miss selfridge leopard print heelsThese shoes are from Miss Selfridge and I got them in 2011 when we were on vacation in London (I bought 14 pairs of shoes on that trip, crazy.) I’ll be honest and say they aren’t the most comfortable shoes in the world, but they are still amazing.

Leopard Lounge

lounge leopard wedges outfitAnother look from February and this one was particularly a favorite,  because I loved my entire outfit: the jacket is from Zara Woman (it totally reminds me of Project Runway creations, well, the good ones anyway) is super quirky and thus I totally love it; the dress (also Zara Woman) is super short so that also seems to work for me haha. The quilted chain detail bag (Mango) is one of my favorites and currently I am waiting on an eBay purchase of this same bag, yup, I love it so much I repurchased it. But you know me and it’s always about the shoes. The shoes, my goodness, the shoes. I had wanted these Iron Fist Leopard print “Lounge Days” wedge shoes for ages and then they were sold out and I thought I’d never have them but luckily my Iron Fist store restocked them (I’m hoping the same thing will happen with the “Buns’n’Roses” shoes I’m currently lusting after) and I actually managed to buy these in the sales!

London Shopping Pt. 2

london shoesBesides the dresses mentioned in my last post, I also bought some shoes (the 6 pairs pictured above), a cheap parka from Primark, a super cheap black miniskirt from Topshop, a petticoat, a real leather jacket, a lipstick, 3 books, 2 magazines, loads of tights, a lip balm and a pillow case. Phew, quite a list right?

Little bee

Garden girl

Last weekend M and I went for a ‘mini-anniversary dinner’ to one of our favorite restaurants and it was lovely, I had THE BEST dessert, although mine was with chocolate ice-cream. My goodness, it was delicious! It was also great to go out and ‘get a breather’ from just staying at home and studying all the time. Oh and speaking of studying – – – I passed my huge exam yesterday!!! Hip hip hurray!

Biker

biker girlI’ve either gone crazy or this actually works. Yeah, I’m wearing a pair of high waist shorts in what’s either pink or coral and they’re basically biker shorts. And by that I don’t mean a cool motorcycle style pair of shorts (if that’s even a thing), nope. I mean like crazy bicycle attire. To balance the crazy that is these shorts I wore my trusted black button down shirt* and a new favorite: my white biker jacket – quilted perfection.  Oh and these killer shoes:

How Bout Them Apples?

Retro girlYesterday was another State holiday (I really love the month of May) and M and I decided to go on a little walk to discover the area where we live. We’ve lived here nearly three quarters of a year and haven’t been exploring much. We have gone on walks but usually with Dracul and he doesn’t really like to go that far.  He’s a lazy pig.  Well yesterday I had already walked Dracul beforehand so we were able to go on a walk without him. I was pleased with the idea of going out because I really wanted to wear these shoes:
