On Friday I wasn’t feeling my best, I had a tough day and was a bit feverish, I hadn’t slept well with the exam of questionable results, let’s just say that I deserved a rest. Continue reading Not the Best Choice

Favorites: Piglet
I added the photo below to one of my older posts because of the shoes I was wearing and that got me thinking if I have any other photos with Piglet (I love the photo above where we’re being particularly affectionate). It probably won’t surprise you that, yes, indeed I managed to find a different set of photos featuring me and one of my favorite fictional characters (it also won’t surprise you that I totally wanted to take Piglet home with me but M stopped me – life is so unfair.) *These are from June 2011 when we went to see X-men First Class. A Lilac Affair
I promised you some fashion so here it is. This is what I wore on Sunday to a family lunch. I tend to be a little over dressed for these events but M‘s family enjoys seeing all my crazy shoes so that works out quite well. Speaking of wonderful and unique shoes:
Biker
I’ve either gone crazy or this actually works. Yeah, I’m wearing a pair of high waist shorts in what’s either pink or coral and they’re basically biker shorts. And by that I don’t mean a cool motorcycle style pair of shorts (if that’s even a thing), nope. I mean like crazy bicycle attire. To balance the crazy that is these shorts I wore my trusted black button down shirt* and a new favorite: my white biker jacket – quilted perfection. Oh and these killer shoes:
A Leopard Print Mouse
The weekend is at an end and I just gave myself the biggest shock ever. I was looking over questions to my pending exam and almost got a heart attack as I thought I still had a massive amount of questions to work through. Luckily, I have all of the questions that I need already printed out and organized and now I just have to learn everything by Friday morning. Phew. It would not have been easy working out all those additional questions, that’s for sure! But maybe giving myself the scare wasn’t all that negative as now I’m all happy and “hey, this isn’t so bad”. Enough about my exams and panic attacks, they’ll be more of those as my exams draw nearer, let’s now focus on something a bit more pleasant. Shoes.
How Bout Them Apples?
Yesterday was another State holiday (I really love the month of May) and M and I decided to go on a little walk to discover the area where we live. We’ve lived here nearly three quarters of a year and haven’t been exploring much. We have gone on walks but usually with Dracul and he doesn’t really like to go that far. He’s a lazy pig. Well yesterday I had already walked Dracul beforehand so we were able to go on a walk without him. I was pleased with the idea of going out because I really wanted to wear these shoes:
An Apple a Day
Red Shoe Week Continued
The first of May is a state holiday in the Czech Republic – it’s lovely to get the day off and in honor of that, today was incredibly lazy and relaxed. We got up late, went on a longer walk with Mr. Pig, then we were deciding what to do with the rest of the day – go to the Zoo and stop by the Indian food place for lunch, go to the nearby pub and have a typical weekend style day or go to town and visit a new restaurant, Bruxx. We went to town.
A Week of Red Shoes
Okay, so it’s not a full week, but I was so excited about it that I couldn’t wait to show you the new feature on this blog. Once in a while I’ll do a week of specific shoes: red shoes, green shoes, Melissa shoes, you get the idea. Anything that there’s enough of in my collection to wear for one week straight without repeating shoes. Though obviously I cheated here – not only is this not a full week but I did wear other pairs of shoes as well. I’ll get to that in a moment. But first, let’s take a look at the shoes:
Favorites: The Shoe Edition

In this issue of Favorites we take a look back to some of my favorite shoe moments from 2014. It won’t be a complete best-of list as some of the shoes from my collection haven’t been worn yet this year, but close enough. March in particular was fruitful, or well shoeful, it had been a very good month mainly due to the lack of snow or ice we had this year. I’m willing to say it was the best winter ever!
