Picking up where I left off with Outfit August, here are a few picks from last week. Starting with Thursday‘s food shopping outfit. It has gotten rather cold in Prague so I’m currently wearing lots of variations of this outfit: opaque tights, sweater or leather jacket, cute dress, cute flats.
I’m sorry the photo above is so grainy, it was dark by the time we got to the store and since I hadn’t been documenting my outfits at the beginning of the week, I wanted to have at least something to show you. My outfit consisted of several old pieces (both my dress and the sweater are really old; the dress is from H&M and I bought it in 2011 – I haven’t worn it in ages but because of Outfit August, I decided to revisit it.) I’m wearing a (new) flower headband but you can’t really see it (which was my lazy equivalent of making an effort). The shoes are also new, I bought them in the middle of summer this year in the Topshop sale, they were super cheap. Right away I knew I wanted to wear them with black opaque tights to really highlight those awesome cut-outs (as much as I dislike cut-outs on dresses, I LOVE them on shoes!)

I added the photo below to one of my older posts because of the shoes I was wearing and that got me thinking if I have any other photos with Piglet (I love the photo above where we’re being particularly affectionate). It probably won’t surprise you that, yes, indeed I managed to find a different set of photos featuring me and one of my favorite fictional characters (it also won’t surprise you that I totally wanted to take Piglet home with me but M stopped me – life is so unfair.) *These are from June 2011 when we went to see X-men First Class. In this issue of Favorites we return to April 2010.
These photos were for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy competition. The photos were taken by Midzu Gombitova; Dagmar Popova did my hair (and playsuit and dress are MONIKK).

To start this issue of Favorites let me show you one of my favorite outfits that I’ve ever worn. It symbolizes everything that is Very Veronique: a crazy print (Iron Fist t-shirt), a dose of a fun bright color (or fun tights in general, these are from Asos, the bag is from Pull&Bear and it’s personalized with a little picture of Dracul on the front), unique shoes (Iron Fist “Filthy Landlubber” wedges). Then add a favorite mini skirt (Zara Woman) and a fake leather jacket (Topshop). I wore this outfit to a lunch date and I have to add that the shoes were getting a lot of attention.
In this volume of Favorites we revisit April 2014. April is always a busy month, with the nicer weather there’s more to do and also so many people have their birthdays in April, it’s madness. Speaking of birthdays, this is what I wore to M’s brother’s birthday dinner.

In today’s issue of Favorites I bring you photos from April 2009.

I mentioned in my last post that these are one of my all time favorite earrings. I love them so much. They were an impulse purchase ages ago (well that last post was from 2009!) and I still love them as much today as I did when I bought them!I think the reason why I like them so much is because they remind me of dream-catchers. So they have this dreamy magical feel to them, no? Also I love the combination of silver and gold (when it’s done right).
