I’m usually on the rock chick / rockabilly psychobilly sometimes grunge wave concerning style (and music) but occasionally I turn towards a more relaxed carefree love is all around hippie style.

Postponed
So I postponed my pending exam that was to be this Tuesday for health reasons (I had a pretty bad fever over the weekend and still am sick now but it’s gotten better). It’ll be on the 25th instead (and I have a different exam on the 23rd and a dentist appointment on the 24th, urrghh!) so on the one hand it’s great to have more time but on the other if I hadn’t been forced to just sleep and do nothing over the weekend, I’d have preferred having my exam over with. But life is what it is. No time to feel sorry for myself, I still have today to get better and then I need to do some SERIOUS studying. I don’t know how much blogging I’ll be able to do but hopefully I’ll manage a couple of posts.

London 2012
As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, we visited London again in July 2012 for another wonderful vacation (although it had rained almost entirely throughout our trip). This time we stayed for 6 days (5 nights) so we got to experience a tad more than on our first trip. The photo below is one of my favorites from our trip because that dog was adorable and oh so cuddly and also because it is the only photo I have of that scarf (which I sadly lost during this trip).
Vacation Preparation
There’s still a whole month left before M and I go on vacation. But in the midst of “studying” (I need to up my game as I’ve been slacking off too much lately!), I’m daydreaming of our pending London adventure and remembering the trips we have taken in the past. So today I thought I’d post my favorite photos from our past London visits.
Godzilla!
There was crap lighting but I still love this photo. Last week M and I went to see the film Godzilla, M wanted to go, I thought it was going to be a horrid movie. It’s funny that in the end M was disappointed and I quite liked it (spoiler alert: I was rooting for Godzilla and was afraid he’d die but he made it so I was happy).

I’ve been nominated for the Liebster Award by the lovely Leprechaunsmakecocochanellookcool blog. The award is to help people discover new blogs and I was really honored, it’s nice being thought of, especially since my blog is still a baby.
So here are the questions I was asked: Continue reading 11 questions
A Different Files of New
On Friday I went to the annual Prague Tattoo Convention, suffered a while (but Tereza from Tribo Tattoo was amazing and I highly recommend her) and now I have a lovely new tattoo. Continue reading A Different Files of New
Favorites: Henry Holland for Pretty Polly
It’s been a while since I’ve done a favorites post and after I went to see Bill Bailey’s show I had wanted to do a post dedicated to Henry Holland for Pretty Polly tights anyways, so it was just a matter of time before those two ideas met to make this post.
The Henry Holland for Pretty Polly fake stir up tights. I probably don’t have to say that I LOVE these tights. They are pretty much the perfect pair of tights. They’re durable (they don’t tear), they’re interesting and unique. Now I would say that you definitely need to be careful when styling these. The wrong styling could take these lovely tights from being cool and stylish to looking cheap and whoreish. Here are some ways I’ve worn these tights (and other Henry Holland tights) in the past: Continue reading Favorites: Henry Holland for Pretty Polly
Days of Future Past
I promised you this outfit post yesterday so here it is. So, this is what I wore on Monday night to go see the new X-men movie (which was pretty brilliant but I am definitely bias as I am a fan of the series). I was feeling really burnt out on Monday (after writing my thesis I was completely drained) so I look quite tired in these photos. As for my outfit, I dressed according to my shoes:
