Hello everyone, sorry about being so spacy this week. To top it off, I wore some really great outfits to work this week and didn’t get a single photo, arrgh. But here’s an outfit from this past weekend, from Sunday when M and I went to his parents’ house for lunch. I wore my scenic mountain print dress, a sweater coat I bought in Vienna, my new Rome bag and these old Zara Woman leather ballerina flats with an interesting brooch detail on the front.

They say that it’s the little things in life that make life worth living.
My kind of date
Last Friday M and I went to one of our favorite restaurants Prosecco to celebrate our monthly anniversary. I went with a more relaxed look, I haven’t been too much into heels lately. (Especially since I was almost running late.) I wore these quilted gold flats from Topshop.
And I finally wore my new Zara dress that I bought in Rome.
Seriously, this dress is surprisingly difficult to wear. It is super short and requires laid back styling. In the end I quite like this outfit, it’s not my favorite ever, but it was nice and I had fun wearing it, which is my biggest criteria when it comes to clothes.

Fishkus Fest
Last weekend M and I and some friends went to a seafood festival (as most of you know, I don’t eat meat but I do eat some seafood.) The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. And so I had some fun with my outfit:
My theme was center around a play on black and white, the monochrome look is still a favorite for me but I mixed things up a bit by wearing one black and one white Melissa Barbie Stiletto print ultragirl flat shoe. When I bought them in 2011 I first bought the white pair and then right away I knew I needed the black pair too in order to do this mixed and matched look.
Me and My Unicorn
Okay, first of all, I want to say this is my favorite photo of me in a long time and it’s kind of funny that it is since you can’t see my face. But the reason why I love it so much is because it is so ME. This is who I am. I’m the wacky kooky girl that poses with a orange slice shaped seat cushion in a parking lot after having gone food shopping. Yes, I wore this gorgeous outfit to go food shopping. Over dressed? Definitely but it was a state holiday (last Friday) and I had some time to have fun with my outfit and I went with M, so I had someone to take my photo. Most of my daily outfits don’t get documented because all of my photos are iphone photos and I usually need someone (M) to take my picture. That aside, though I do love the silliness of the orange seat cushion, I really love this outfit by itself too.
You may recall these shoes from my things I bought in Rome post, they are flat ballerina shoes with cut-outs from Zara.
When in Rome… Pt.2
A very busy day. We visited Neptune’s fountain, the Spanish steps, Villa Borghese (the Galery Borghese) and the lovely Borghese gardens.

When in Rome… Pt.1
We had a really great time in Rome, thanks to the pleasure only really good weather and amazing food can bring. My top three things that are important in life (besides good company) are weather, food, and a tie between books/movies (and possibly shoes). Anyways, we arrived on Friday, picked up our Rome passes and then took the train to Termini station, then a tram to our hotel. We took a selfie, I don’t wear make-up when I’m traveling, it just feels uncomfortable for me, so this is one of the few times you’ll ever see a photo of me without any make-up.
Age of Ultron
Before we went on our Roman holiday we went to see the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie on Thursday night. I had been so excited to see this film, waiting impatiently to see it for months. Anyways, truth be told, I was a tad disappointed. The script felt a little too all over the place, it had way too many characters and subplots to be a coherent story, and though I would have been a fan of the Black Widow/ Hulk relationship, it felt very forced (and the ending of that kind of sucked). I loved the first Avengers movie (we went to see it twice in the cinema because it was so good) but this one fell a bit short. I would see it again but not in theaters. However, I’m still a fan of the franchise and will go see the other movies when they come out. Anyways, here’s what I wore.
Roman Holiday
Sorry for the delay in posts, I was on a mini-break (from Friday morning until Monday evening in Rome) and needed a bit of a rest after returning to Prague. I’ll have some travel outfits to post tomorrow.
But I thought I’d share what I bought in today’s post. Our Roman holiday wasn’t really a shopping trip (that’s our London holiday) but I did visit 3 different Zara stores in between the sight-seeing and bought a few things.
OMG Lady Dragon
I mentioned buying this dress and the clutch yesterday, and here’s me wearing them! The outfit is from Sunday, M and I went to a family dinner (celebrating his dad’s birthday). I knew I wanted to wear the dress, no actually it started with me wanting to wear the clutch bag. And having picked it out to wear, I knew I needed a semi-neutral dress, something to complement the bag and so a LBD was an obvious choice, especially considering I had a new LBD in my possession! The hardest part was to choose the shoes as it was a rainy day and we weren’t going by car but I still wanted to wear heels.
