Sorry for the delay in posts, I was on a mini-break (from Friday morning until Monday evening in Rome) and needed a bit of a rest after returning to Prague. I’ll have some travel outfits to post tomorrow.
But I thought I’d share what I bought in today’s post. Our Roman holiday wasn’t really a shopping trip (that’s our London holiday) but I did visit 3 different Zara stores in between the sight-seeing and bought a few things.
But first there was the mandatory book purchase at the airport (one of my favorite things about traveling is buying a book and a magazine at the airport).
The book is called “Attachments” written by Rainbow Rowell and it’s a really sweet love-story about guy in IT falling in love with a movie reviewer through her emails to her friend. It was a very quick read and I really liked all the characters.
As I mentioned above, I bought a few items in Zara, starting with this Zara Basic yellow skirt with pockets. It’s very comfortable and you’ll see it in one of the holiday outfit posts.
Next on the new list are these flat gold sandals (they were actually the first item that I bought). I’ve already worn them once and they are very comfortable to wear and I love how they look. The big buckle is a really great detail and the color is gorgeous.
I bought this slightly slouchy t-shirt with small hearts all over it. I’ve been more and more into t-shirts lately and heart print is always a good option.
This dress is kind of really weird with the fake pockets but I love it. It is very short (especially on a tall girl like me) but I figure with a pair of black tights it should work perfectly.
The last item is my favorite from my Zara purchases, these gorgeous white flats with cut-out detailing and a black insole. So cute right?
I love a monochrome look so I figure these will get a LOT of wear:) I also got a leather bag from a leather boutique, you’ll see it in an outfit post soon.
I look forward to reading more about your holiday. 🙂
Thanks! I need to write that post but have been procrastinating so bad!
I’d quite like to go to Rome. We just got a huge parcel sent from Zara in Madrid last week. It was ‘home’ stuff, they have the CUTEST things, but no home stores in the UK as far as I know, so we just order online. My parents are in Madeira and they go to the Zara Home store there and that’s what got us into it in the first place.
