All the little things
The results of Friday’s exams have been posted this morning (and yes, I had been checking all weekend) and truth be told, I was terrified of what the results would be. I had the worst feeling about the exam because I had a really crap day Friday. But luckily I passed and I am very very grateful. One down, three to go.
Not the Best Choice

Ohh La La
Just a quick little post today. Yesterday I had one of my exams, it was a written one so I don’t know how it went, but it wasn’t the pleasantest of days. I had a bit of a fever the day before and kind of just felt like crap, that’s never a good thing. Plus with nerves, well, let’s just say there have been better days. As a little lift, I stopped by Topshop and had a look-see. I couldn’t afford to buy any clothes (though I did spy this gorgeous black and white gingham skirt, swoon) but I did buy this pretty lippy that I have been thinking about buying on and off for about half a year now. I always talked myself out of it thinking that I don’t need another lipstick. But now I’m so happy that I did buy it and that I do have it, yay!
Cursed
On Wednesday at about noon, after my last uni class of the semester, I stopped by Zara and treated myself to a gorgeous yellow pleated dress:

I added the photo below to one of my older posts because of the shoes I was wearing and that got me thinking if I have any other photos with Piglet (I love the photo above where we’re being particularly affectionate). It probably won’t surprise you that, yes, indeed I managed to find a different set of photos featuring me and one of my favorite fictional characters (it also won’t surprise you that I totally wanted to take Piglet home with me but M stopped me – life is so unfair.) *These are from June 2011 when we went to see X-men First Class. WTW: University Exam
WTW short for What To Wear is series of posts where I contemplate what to wear (for a specific occasion). A real shocker that one. It’s actually one of my favorite things to dream up. Welcome to the first official WTW on Very Veronique!
For a Summer Semester uni exam outfit I have four very simple guidelines:
Biker
I’ve either gone crazy or this actually works. Yeah, I’m wearing a pair of high waist shorts in what’s either pink or coral and they’re basically biker shorts. And by that I don’t mean a cool motorcycle style pair of shorts (if that’s even a thing), nope. I mean like crazy bicycle attire. To balance the crazy that is these shorts I wore my trusted black button down shirt* and a new favorite: my white biker jacket – quilted perfection. Oh and these killer shoes:
