A few days ago M and I went to see the film “Chappie” and this is what I wore. It was a simple outfit as we had decided to go to the cinema last minute. My bestie stopped by at my flat earlier in the day and I gave her some clothes I was selling on Vinted (a bright pink winter coat and a few dresses) and some other dresses that I had in storage and hadn’t worn in ages. Anyways, amongst the dresses I gave away there were about three leopard print dresses and that definitely inspired me to wear this Asos leopard print dress that I had bought not long ago (about a month or two ago).

Unboxing: Anna Sui Holliday Sweets Collection
I recently purchased this super cute make-up set from Anna Sui (I had been Asos-stalking it for over a month until I decided to take the plunge.)

The box contains another box, this one resembles a box of chocolates.

Hello Panda!
I have a few outfit posts that I haven’t posted yet. I’ll start with one of my favorites – a mostly all-black outfit with some monochrome details. The star of the show was this cute Liquorish Panda bag.
It’s roomy enough (most of my novelty and clutch bags are teeny tiny) but of course, like every bag ever, it could be bigger. I love that it’s a panda, because pandas are awesome. I also love that the bag is black and white because that means it will go with a lot of outfits, yay! As for this outfit, well, I wore most of my winter favorites: super old Zara hat, Next gloves, black pashmina, warmest Zara Woman coat. As for the shoes I wore my Hunter Chatel moonboots.
Winter lips
I wish we could just skip the rest of winter and move along to Spring 😒 because though I don’t mind cold weather at the mountains, I HATE winter in the city. I’m a winter sufferer too: my sleeping patterns are all over the place, I’m constantly too cold/too hot, and my skin gets super dry.
Especially my lips! I have to use lip balms literally all the time. Although I love lipstick I don’t tend to use any during winter. But here are some products that I use instead:
Impersonating a white bear
Remember that fuzzy Topshop winter coat I bought almost a month ago? Well I wore it straight away after I bought it (and have actually only worn it once, it is a bit hard to wear. I did feel like I was sort of impersonating a white bear but otherwise it’s fine.)
Anyways, the coat is question is this Topshop Faux Fur Teddy PeaCoat. Now you do want to see how I styled it? 🙂
Valentine’s Day Gift Guide
I love Valentine’s Day. And that has noting to do with love or relationships, I just really like hearts and sweets and positivity. One of my fondest childhood memories is of Valentine’s Day at elementary school when we would all give each other paper cards we made and eat candy hearts. The great thing about being an adult is you get to give and receive actual meaningful gifts. Yay!
If you’re struggling to find a gift for your significant other of the female gender or perhaps looking for a gift for yourself or a friend, Valentine’s day can be a bit tricky. What’s the perfect gift? For starters I’ll tell you what isn’t the perfect gift! Lingerie. For me, lingerie is a definite no-no. There are many reasons why it’s the worst gift and one of them is I think underwear is really something I need to try on, well, not the panties but bras for sure. A bra can be my size but it still won’t sit right so I would really dislike getting a bra as a gift. Secondly, lingerie is sort of more a gift for the giver than for the receiver. That said, lingerie can be a nice gift, it really depends on the person.
So if lingerie is out, what’s left you say? Shoes. Although shoes can also be something you feel you need to try on, but if you know a brand then you usually know what size you are with that brand. I’m usually a UK size 6 with Asos shoes, especially if they’re open toe heels (but if they have a pointed closed toe, then I need to size up to a 7). I adore the shoes pictured above, the Asos Harmony heeled sandals. The oversized bow is just adorable and I love the print of the shoes.
Baby, It’s Cold Outside
Disclaimer: I’m an animal lover above all and I don’t think it is right for people to purchase new animal fur coats (and thus supporting the animal fur trade). That said, I’m completely fine with fur items as long as they are VINTAGE and not furthering the demand for fur items. Maybe one day that will change and I will be against all fur items (because in a way even vintage fur supports the fur trade – someone will see someone else in a lovely vintage fur coat, they’ll want it but won’t be able to find a vintage version so maybe they’ll buy a new fur coat) (and in this day and age, when synthetic clothing can be just as warm as fur, no one needs a fox/rabbit/mink etc coat except for the fox/rabbit/mink etc.)
On to the fashion.

My Milkshake
Sometimes, even when I LOVE something, it takes me ages to wear it for the first time. Usually, that’s due to the weather, like if I buy a summer mini dress in the middle of winter. Sometimes, I find myself simply waiting for the perfect outfit for a particular item. That was the case of this cute clutch bag from New Look:
Lush Addict
One of my favorite Christmas presents that I received was a Lush gift box from M. And it totally kick started (or well, renewed) my Lush addiction. I ADORE Lush. I’m 100% behind supporting the fight against animal cruelty, plus their products are amazing. I’ve decided to review the products from this gift box, at least the ones I have tried out so far…

Cheers
I teased you with this outfit not long ago and guess what, I finally downloaded the photos from my phone onto my computer. I wore this outfit on December 21st to an anni dinner with M. (We have this silly but totally sweet tradition that we celebrate our mini-anniversary every month by having a fancy dinner.) I had just received this fabulous bag a few days before and couldn’t wait to wear it out. I have become quite a clutch fan this past year and this is definitely one of my favorite.
