I promised you some fashion so here it is. This is what I wore on Sunday to a family lunch. I tend to be a little over dressed for these events but M‘s family enjoys seeing all my crazy shoes so that works out quite well. Speaking of wonderful and unique shoes:

WTW: University Exam
WTW short for What To Wear is series of posts where I contemplate what to wear (for a specific occasion). A real shocker that one. It’s actually one of my favorite things to dream up. Welcome to the first official WTW on Very Veronique!

For a Summer Semester uni exam outfit I have four very simple guidelines:
How Bout Them Apples?
Yesterday was another State holiday (I really love the month of May) and M and I decided to go on a little walk to discover the area where we live. We’ve lived here nearly three quarters of a year and haven’t been exploring much. We have gone on walks but usually with Dracul and he doesn’t really like to go that far. He’s a lazy pig. Well yesterday I had already walked Dracul beforehand so we were able to go on a walk without him. I was pleased with the idea of going out because I really wanted to wear these shoes:

Happiness is a state of mind

The above photo is from May 1st 2012 (wow, time flies) and I’m featuring it today because a) it ties in with Melissa shoe week (although I haven’t worn my Melissa “Violatta” sandals yet this year because I’m saving them for summer) b) the photo shows some of my favorite things about Spring (dandelions, being outside, warm weather, free days) and c) today’s post is about happiness.

Vivienne Westwood for Melissa Three Strap Elevated Bow Heels
I told you about ordering these shoes from Nonnon and I was pleasantly surprised as they ended up arriving rather sooner than later. I was so excited with these beautiful shoes that I ended up styling two looks instead of just one:) Continue reading 2 for 1: Melissa three strap
A Herd of One
Today was a rare sunny day (the rest of the week is supposed to be rainy and cold) and besides studying, we went on a nice walk with Mr. Pig, then we went to a family lunch (without Mr. Pig) and later my sister stopped by the flat and she helped me with my French. I didn’t take outfit photos studying (ha, like anyone would want to see that), but since M went with us on our piggy walk, he was kind enough to play photographer yet again. It’s lucky that it’s Melissa Shoe Week because I almost always wear these shoes when I walk Dracul!
