Vivienne Westwood for Melissa Three Strap Elevated Bow Heels
I told you about ordering these shoes from Nonnon and I was pleasantly surprised as they ended up arriving rather sooner than later. I was so excited with these beautiful shoes that I ended up styling two looks instead of just one:)Look #1: I love how this look turned out but I didn’t end up wearing it, because I thought it was a bit too much for a pub lunch. This look would have worked had it been evening or if the place we were going to was a little tad more fancy. Yes, I reserved my fake fur for posh affairs, haha. Wearing: Topshop latex pencil skirt, Zara V-neck sweater. But most importantly, the Sisley fake fur cape (or poncho?) Whatever it is, I call it “the mushroom”. Anyways, it’s really the center point of the outfit, giving it an air of glamor and sophistication. I don’t wear it too often but it is pretty amazing. Actually, the last time I wore it was almost exactly a year ago:

But back to the shoes, I must say, although it was love at first sight, I wasn’t completely convinced that I needed them way back when they first came out. They were always on the back of my mind, but it wasn’t until I saw the lovely Roisin wearing them that I knew that yes indeed, I need shoes! I was glad they arrived so soon as I wanted to wear them during the Melissa shoe week although I’m sure I will be wearing them a lot and not just this week.
As for outfit #2 well I really liked how the shoes looked with a pencil skirt so I wanted to keep more or less the same silhouette (except of course no mushroom this time). I wore a red-wine H&M dress, a red belt that came with a different H&M dress, my favorite Zara cropped fake leather jacket, my favorite Mango bag, a pair of opaque tights (it’s gotten quite cold again) and a scarf that I
stole borrowed from my boyfriend. He has the best scarves.
Oh I forgot to add, I wore these on Saturday to go to lunch. They were very comfortable and thanks to the three straps I felt very secure in them. In all honesty, I can’t wait to wear them again:)
