Mountain climbing/walking is definitely not my usual weekend activity. I’m a city-girl though and through, I once literally had an allergic reaction to fresh mountain air (okay, so it probably had more to do with the chlorine used in the pool that we went to later but whatever). I prefer the city to the country side and shopping is my cardio. Nonetheless, M convinced me (actually he bribed me) to give the mountains and fresh air a chance two weekends ago. I had one condition though…

Christmas time Vienna mini-break
Back in December M and I went on an extended-weekend mini-break to visit Vienna and enjoy their lovely Christmas themed booths selling fruity wine and candy. Heaven.
I absolutely love that sign. So fun! And nutella’s great too. It was rather cold (mainly because I didn’t bring my warmest winter coat, stupid me) so I was glad I had my cozy reindeer sweatshirt.
Cheers
I teased you with this outfit not long ago and guess what, I finally downloaded the photos from my phone onto my computer. I wore this outfit on December 21st to an anni dinner with M. (We have this silly but totally sweet tradition that we celebrate our mini-anniversary every month by having a fancy dinner.) I had just received this fabulous bag a few days before and couldn’t wait to wear it out. I have become quite a clutch fan this past year and this is definitely one of my favorite.
The Holidays
As much as I dislike winter (I believe it should ONLY be cold and snowing at the mountains) I really love the holidays. I typically save up my vacation days and then have a very relaxed December. I also adore kitschy holiday fashion. Give me reindeer and bells all winter long. I particularly LOVE this reindeer sweatshirt from F&F. It combines three aspects that make it a winter favorite: it was cheap, it’s super cute and very warm. And surprisingly I’ve actually been wearing it a lot!
Walking Mr. Pig
These photos were taken about two weeks ago? What a difference in weather! It is currently raining sleet and everything is horrible and freezing and wet. Ugh. These past few days my pig walking has been limited to bare minimums – we go out, he gets his business accomplished and we race back home.
Wearing: old knitted hat – H&M, bright trench – F&F, ugg-like boots – Truffle via Asos.
* They’re still a tad too small but for the occasional pig walk, they’ll do.
Graffiti Duck
See, I wasn’t kidding about wear these shoes ALL THE TIME. I wear them mostly with skinny jeans – which I have been seriously loving this month. I don’t know, either my style has gone really laid back or I’ve just become a bit more lazy, but seriously, nothing is as easy as putting on a pair of skinny jeans and a few layers and calling it an outfit.
Enchanted
Last Tuesday was a state holiday and M and I went on a little outing. Instead of staying home we went to Prague’s city center and had quite a nice trip. Our adventure started in good form – with lunch at a place called At the Blind Cat. We had delicious crepes (that is their specialty), pictured below is the one I had (it was with warm raspberries and vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, yum) – M had a salty crepe (I’ve never had one before and was surprised that the dough was different). We also had soup (mine was tomato, yum) and we shared an additional crepe for desert (with blueberries and cream) – so suffice to say we were stuffed (I could hardly move).
Sheepy Cute
Last Sunday after returning from our wine cellar outing, we relaxed at home for a bit and then later that day we went out to see the film Qu’est-qu’on fait au Bon Dieu? I LOVED the movie, it was perfect! I also loved the outfit I was wearing. I used my last chance to wear my Mr. Sheep vest. We went by car so I could get away with it (otherwise I would have been way too cold!) and I have to say yet again how much I love it: I love it a lot!
OOTD: Green on Green
This outfit is from ages ago (from the 24th of October) and I was really going full out with the green. It all started with this dress from Topshop with its wonderful laser cut square cut-outs. I know I mentioned before that I dislike cut-outs on dresses (though I love them on shoes!) but with cut-outs like these, I really like them. Anyways, I first saw this dress in London actually, it was on sale but I think they didn’t have my size or it wasn’t that much on sale. Long story short, I stopped by my local (ha, there’s only one in Prague) Topshop store, saw it in the current sale, the last one and in my size, and I knew it would be mine.
Files of New: the pregnant parka
One of my most recent purchases, I bought this parka the week we returned from New York. I stopped by my closest H&M and was looking for those dungarees but alas they still didn’t have them (will they ever?) I wasn’t too upset though because I came across this lightweight parka. I instantly fell inn love. I liked the color, I liked the shape of the hood, I liked the pockets and most of all, I liked the high-low hem line. If done right I really like a slightly longer hem line in the back. Ever since I bought it I have been wearing this parka nonstop (well, until it got way too cold to wear it, which happened this week.) Funnily enough, when I was looking for a product picture on the H&M website and I couldn’t find it, I then figured out that it is actually from the MAMA line and is intended for pregnant ladies. Ehm.
