Another look from February and this one was particularly a favorite, because I loved my entire outfit: the jacket is from Zara Woman (it totally reminds me of Project Runway creations, well, the good ones anyway) is super quirky and thus I totally love it; the dress (also Zara Woman) is super short so that also seems to work for me haha. The quilted chain detail bag (Mango) is one of my favorites and currently I am waiting on an eBay purchase of this same bag, yup, I love it so much I repurchased it. But you know me and it’s always about the shoes. The shoes, my goodness, the shoes. I had wanted these Iron Fist Leopard print “Lounge Days” wedge shoes for ages and then they were sold out and I thought I’d never have them but luckily my Iron Fist store restocked them (I’m hoping the same thing will happen with the “Buns’n’Roses” shoes I’m currently lusting after) and I actually managed to buy these in the sales!

A Change in Plans
I planned on going to today’s exam (my last exam until finals) but I’ve decided to post-pone the exam. I’m tired, cranky, and have a vicious head cold. Although it would possibly help my french accent, I don’t think I could speak anyways. Yeah, it’s pretty bad. Head colds are the worst. Anyways, still I’m in PJ’s (cropped harem pants and a tank top, same difference) I thought I’d share something that I did last year the first week of September 🙂
Trench Continued
But how about my favorite way to wear a trench? And also the way I wear it the most? Well, that’s simple really – it’s wearing it with a dress (or skirt) that has a shorter hem line than the trench coat. It’s provocative and sexy. It’s a bit naughty (especially if people can’t tell if you’re wearing something underneath or not).
Jeffrey’s Girl
Auto Love
I’m not going out anywhere this weekend or on Monday, because I have my exam this Tuesday – that means I’d have nothing to post but alas I thought, why not share one of my favorite outfits from the beginning of this year? (Before I started this blog.) This outfit, worn to a lunch date and a spot of shopping, is from February, when we were blessed with a seriously warm winter and thus I got away with wearing only a semi-warm coat. I felt amazing in this outfit, but trust me – that had nothing to do with my coat, it was all about the shoes…
Dead Elvis
One of the weirder things I’ve worn recently, this outfit is from the weekend when we went to a friends’ grill party. I wore my Underground dark blue suede triple sole Creepers. I love these shoes for many reasons, one of which is that they are my blue suede shoes. I mean, everyone should have a pair of blue suede shoes.
Addicted
You know when you find something that you absolutely love and you just can’t stand to part from it? Definitely the case with me and this bag – I love it to pieces. It’s an old Mango quilted circle bag with a lovely gold chain and I have been constantly wearing it lately. (I also wore it yesterday with a different outfit, which I’ll post soon.) I do not have any issues with wearing this bag over and over again, but the problem is that it is starting to show it’s age and I will need to buy a new one soon. This outfit, worn last Wednesday, features quite a few of my favorites: my newest leather jacket, an old black knitted dress, my black pashmina scarf and of course, the shoes.
Mon Cowboy
This outfit is from Sunday and was created around this leather jacket. (I bought the jacket in Camden for ten pounds, crazy!) I knew I wanted to wear the jacket (it’s finally the perfect weather for it) and so I went for a very simple outfit underneath – t-shirt and a black cardigan, skinny jeans – then it was just a question of shoes and bag:
Thrifted shopper
This outfit is from Saturday and it’s one of my favorite outfits that I’ve worn lately. It was one of the final hot days of summer (well at least half of the day was quite warm), so I decided to wear one last bare legged look. We went to the vegetable market and bought loads of lovely veggies, so I wanted something comfortable but still interesting. I first chose the dress. It’s an old thrift store find but funnily enough, I had never worn it before. It used to be a bit too big (and still is a tad) but I felt it looked quite nice. I really like the skirt part of the dress (the top part is actually really boring). I love the color of the dress and the texture, it’s like you’re really wearing gold. I wanted to stay with a gold theme but also keep things casual. There was walking involved so I was definitely going to wear a flat shoe, I chose this pair of sandals because it’s still casual but there is some sophistication as well. And the gold studs went nicely with the dress.
Never Ending St..udying
Maintenant, je passe mon temps avec le français – en approchant le test! Je suis nerveux mais aussi fatigue. On est difficile d’être un étudiant… But enough french, my head hurts. This outfit is from last Friday and I wore it to work and to the library, hence the study reference (I have a little less than a month and have basically just started studying so if what I wrote above has some mistakes, at least I tried…), I liked my outfit though I must admit, it was minimum effort.
