I planned on going to today’s exam (my last exam until finals) but I’ve decided to post-pone the exam. I’m tired, cranky, and have a vicious head cold. Although it would possibly help my french accent, I don’t think I could speak anyways. Yeah, it’s pretty bad. Head colds are the worst. Anyways, still I’m in PJ’s (cropped harem pants and a tank top, same difference) I thought I’d share something that I did last year the first week of September π

Trench Continued
But how about my favorite way to wear a trench? And also the way I wear it the most? Well, that’s simple really – it’s wearing it with a dress (orΒ skirt) that has a shorter hem line than the trench coat. It’s provocative and sexy. It’s a bit naughty (especially if people can’t tell if you’re wearing something underneath or not).
In the Trenches
As I’ve mentioned before, I happen to actually really like autumn. One of the things I particularly love about autumn is autumn fashion! I love layers! I love wearing back opaque tights (or funky printed tights), I love scarves and shawls. I love wearing leather jackets and I also love trench coats. This is my favorite trench coat (H&M, bought in 2010):
This post will recall the various ways that I’ve worn this trench coat in the past and how I styled it. Thus answering the age old question How to wear a trench coat? Continue reading In the Trenches
Jeffrey’s Girl
Auto Love
I’m not going out anywhere this weekend or on Monday, because I have my exam this Tuesday – that means I’d have nothing to post but alas I thought, why not share one of my favorite outfits from the beginning of this year? (Before I started this blog.) This outfit, worn to a lunch date and a spot of shopping, is from February, when we were blessed with a seriously warm winter and thus I got away with wearing only a semi-warm coat. I felt amazing in this outfit, but trust me – that had nothing to do with my coat, it was all about the shoes…
Eyelet Lace
Last weekend M and I went to see The Guardians of the Galaxy again (I really didn’t want to have to study, plus I’m a big fan of Rocket and Groot). I knew I wanted to wear this dress because it would be one of my last opportunities this year as it looks crap with outerwear. I wanted to really exaggerate the shape so I added my petticoat underneath. It had such a lovely retro feel I thought I’d stick with it by adding this shoes to the mix:
I Knew You Were Trouble When You Walked in
Hug Me.
One of my semi-recent (about a month or so ago?) purchases was this Zara t-shirt. I don’t often say this about t-shirts but it is amazing. First of all, it is SUPER SOFT. It may well be the softest tee that I have, seriously.
Secondly, it has a picture of a super cute cactus and has a slogan saying “I’m awesome. Hug me.” But yeah, it was the cactus that won me over. And the fact that the shirt was on sale and was incredibly cheap. I love the sales… I wore this outfit last weekend to walk Mr. Pig and though I had gotten a few other photos, I was having a ‘bitch face’ kind of day. But so that this post isn’t so short, I will add a photo of one of my current favorite perfumes (which I was also wearing at the time of taking these photos):
Dead Elvis
One of the weirder things I’ve worn recently, this outfit is from the weekend when we went to a friends’ grill party. I wore my Underground dark blue suede triple sole Creepers. I love these shoes for many reasons, one of which is that they are my blue suede shoes. I mean, everyone should have a pair of blue suede shoes.
Ootd: polkadots and plastic
An outfit from last week, Wednesday. M and I went with friends to one of our favorite pubs where we used to live (I definitely miss Prague 4 more than I thought I would.) Anyways, this is what I wore…
I’ll go top to bottom. Even though I have other leather or fake leather jackets (a staple for me all year round), this one (from Zara) is by far my favorite. It has the best shape and goes literally with anything and everything in my wardrobe. It’s a dream. Suffice to say, I wear it A LOT. It goes equally well with skinny jeans as it does with skirts or dresses. It suited me when I had darker hair and it is just as nice when I’m blonde. I really love this jacket.
