A while ago I posted a “files of new” post about purchasing these shoes and here is an outfit I wore with them. The shoes in question are the “Buns’n’roses” oxfords from Iron Fist. I love these shoes, I think they are so cute! I went a bit kitsch while styling them.

WIW: all black
Just a quick post today (where has all the time gone??), but here’s a recent (the weekend before last) outfit photo. M and I went food shopping and I wore a simple all-black outfit featuring these much-worn Melissa shoes (they used to be one of my most worn pig walking shoes actually).
There’s really not that much I can say about this outfit, just some really old pieces and comfy clothes. The only interesting thing was that I put in some effort with my hair do (or more effort than usually) as I braided my fringe (I’m sort of growing it out now, not sure what I will do with it yet). Anyways, here’s to a productive work week and see you tomorrow.

Scenic Mountain
Hello everyone, sorry about being so spacy this week. To top it off, I wore some really great outfits to work this week and didn’t get a single photo, arrgh. But here’s an outfit from this past weekend, from Sunday when M and I went to his parents’ house for lunch. I wore my scenic mountain print dress, a sweater coat I bought in Vienna, my new Rome bag and these old Zara Woman leather ballerina flats with an interesting brooch detail on the front.
Mustache slippers
This outfit is from a weekend when M and I and some friends went out to lunch, then we went to this little choco-cafe place called “U Cervene zidle” for dessert. Then we all went to the Prague Rum Fest (a rum festival) because M really wanted to go. And after that we went to have dinner, so it was a really busy day! My outfit was centered around comfort with a bit of style. I went with flats as I knew there would be loads of walking involved. I haven’t worn these Zara mustache green velvet slipper shoes in ages!
Files of new: shoes
Today I want to share with you two new pairs of shoes, the most recent additions to my shoe collection.
The first pair are these Reebok Skyscape Harmony slip-on trainers that are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. They may not be the most beautiful pair I have but they make up for it by being so good to my feet. M bought them for me in preparation for our July holiday (there is always so much walking on our holidays and my feet need all the help they can get. I am in between sizes and have a very high arch so finding comfortable walking shoes for me isn’t the easiest thing.) I’ve already worn them a couple of times and have one outfit post to show you in a future post.
The next pair is a lot more fun.
My kind of date
Last Friday M and I went to one of our favorite restaurants Prosecco to celebrate our monthly anniversary. I went with a more relaxed look, I haven’t been too much into heels lately. (Especially since I was almost running late.) I wore these quilted gold flats from Topshop.
And I finally wore my new Zara dress that I bought in Rome.
Seriously, this dress is surprisingly difficult to wear. It is super short and requires laid back styling. In the end I quite like this outfit, it’s not my favorite ever, but it was nice and I had fun wearing it, which is my biggest criteria when it comes to clothes.

Fishkus Fest
Last weekend M and I and some friends went to a seafood festival (as most of you know, I don’t eat meat but I do eat some seafood.) The weather was perfect, sunny and warm. And so I had some fun with my outfit:
My theme was center around a play on black and white, the monochrome look is still a favorite for me but I mixed things up a bit by wearing one black and one white Melissa Barbie Stiletto print ultragirl flat shoe. When I bought them in 2011 I first bought the white pair and then right away I knew I needed the black pair too in order to do this mixed and matched look.
