Favorites: The Shoe Edition

lanvin for H&M

In this issue of Favorites we take a look back to some of my favorite shoe moments from 2014. It won’t be a complete best-of list as some of the shoes from my collection haven’t been worn yet this year, but close enough. March in particular was fruitful, or well shoeful, it had been a very good month mainly due to the lack of snow or ice we had this year. I’m willing to say it was the best winter ever!

Curly Girly

photo 2(3)This past week has been busy – besides the usual schedule I had a photo-shoot on Wednesday (it was fun to get dolled up and get my hair curled). I then decided to keep my hair the same way, for the past few days (I just didn’t touch it and there was enough hair spray in it to last forever).

Happy Easter!

One of my favorite photos of Kate Moss. Alice in Wonderland meets Easter.

First of all I hope everyone is having a lovely holiday and if you don’t celebrate (we don’t either, we just go visit family) then at least it’s nice to have the day off, isn’t it? In honor of the Easter bunny and his bright colored friends, I wore a very thematic outfit. Actually, I just have a thing for bright colored clothes…

Classy With a Twist

20140413-140254.jpg

I don’t always take the time to do my hair. Actually, on most days, I either wear a very lazy side braid (or the Katniss braid, as some people call  it) or an even lazier pony tail or I just leave it down (that’s on the laziest days of all). But lately I have been making more of an effort on the hair frontier: I’ve played with styling my long fringe, which I have been letting grow out, I’ve tried pigtail braids, I’ve done the messy bun. I’ve also recently bought a large hair doughnut, which I used to achieve the hair style shown in this particular post. It’s really easy to use and looks quite put together, it gives a level of sophistication to an otherwise casual outfit.
