The above photo is from May 1st 2012 (wow, time flies) and I’m featuring it today because a) it ties in with Melissa shoe week (although I haven’t worn my Melissa “Violatta” sandals yet this year because I’m saving them for summer) b) the photo shows some of my favorite things about Spring (dandelions, being outside, warm weather, free days) and c) today’s post is about happiness.
Another day, another pair of Melissa shoes. Well don’t be too surprised, after all, it is Melissa shoe week! This time it’s a pair of light blue wedges with an ankle strap and featuring an itty bitty tiny peep toe.
I told you about ordering these shoes from Nonnon and I was pleasantly surprised as they ended up arriving rather sooner than later. I was so excited with these beautiful shoes that I ended up styling two looks instead of just one:) Continue reading 2 for 1: Melissa three strap
Today was a rare sunny day (the rest of the week is supposed to be rainy and cold) and besides studying, we went on a nice walk with Mr. Pig, then we went to a family lunch (without Mr. Pig) and later my sister stopped by the flat and she helped me with my French. I didn’t take outfit photos studying (ha, like anyone would want to see that), but since M went with us on our piggy walk, he was kind enough to play photographer yet again. It’s lucky that it’s Melissa Shoe Week because I almost always wear these shoes when I walk Dracul!
Traditionally Spring is very rainy in Prague, we do have the once-in-a-while sunny day but mainly its the grey dull days promising rain. Usually the rain showers are short but when it rains, it pours. Not only that but it gets quite cold as well. So what to wear in Spring in Prague?
In a previous post I mentioned that I have the Mel by Melissa butterfly detail thong sandals as well as the open toed flats version. And well because it’s still technically red shoe week, I decided to wear them yesterday while I was out with Mr. Pig.
The first of May is a state holiday in the Czech Republic – it’s lovely to get the day off and in honor of that, today was incredibly lazy and relaxed. We got up late, went on a longer walk with Mr. Pig, then we were deciding what to do with the rest of the day – go to the Zoo and stop by the Indian food place for lunch, go to the nearby pub and have a typical weekend style day or go to town and visit a new restaurant, Bruxx. We went to town.
