So today is the first day of school for a lot of people, but not for me. Nope, uni starts in a month and the summer exam period ends I think on the 21st. I still have one last exam to pass, my french exam, which will take place in two weeks. So I still have 14 days to prepare myself. Phew. Anyways, the photo above is from a recent pig walk. It’s what I’ve been wearing a lot recently – cropped skinny jeans and a pair of trainers. I love the laid back feel of this type of outfit.
If you’re wondering about my shoes, they are from Asos and are the Deadline flatform trainers. I got them from M and I do love them, but I must say, they are quite difficult to style. I mean, what do you wear with a pair of orange and blue leopard print trainers?? So the answer to that is obviously jeans and then just adding a plain tee. I think something as busy as these shoes really calls for a really simple outfit. I did try them with a dress but it just felt off somehow (even though the dress was the same shade of blue as the blue of the shoes and it had a simple cut.)
I thought I’d show you a photo of Mr. Pig from the same walk. He was enjoying the green grass. I must say, he has been super annoying lately but I guess it’s the negative effects of summer ending. I couldn’t agree more with him, I’m annoyed as well about the cold weather.
Oh here’s an outfit from last week when I was commuting to work. I don’t know if you can see it very well, but notice that box in my hands? It probably won’t surprise you that it’s a pair of new shoes…
love those shoes ❤
Thank you 🙂
Ooh I might need to get those shoes if I need trainers for wearing to physio. Leopard print would hopefully dull the pain of wearing flats! Absolutely dread the thought of what I’d wear (took great pleasure in throwing away my ‘gym clothes’ from last time I went).
Good luck with your physio! Though they aren’t completely flats (they have a tiny flatform thing going on) I’d say they’re as comfy as flats for sure:) btw your comment totally reminded me that I should buy some gym clothes. I have really horrible ugly exercise clothes and that doesn’t make exercising any more fun 😦
