OOTD: casual pink

ImageI don’t have much time (I need to pack and get my last work in order before we go on our vacation tomorrow) so I’m only writing a quick post today. This outfit was from the weekend before last? Worn to lunch and a few quick errands. I decided to go with pink accessories to add some fun into an otherwise very casual (boring) outfit:

They’re very comfortable and easy to walk in (I’ve become quite lazy lately and I tend to reach for “easy” shoes – flats or wedges. I know I’ll get back to my stilettos and crazy high heels soon but for now I’m loving the carefree summer vibe). Oh and in case you were wondering the top is from Brave Soul via Asos and has the most amazing party cat on it. (Otherwise my outfit consisted of Pull & Bear black sweater, H&M skinny jeans, Liquor Brand bag and a hot pink pashmina.)

brave soul cat print vestI looked for some other outfits of when I wore the shoes before but I only managed to find one outfit (albeit I didn’t look very hard). Worn on September 2011:

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERARed leather pants, slouchy cropped in the front shirt, a favorite bag. The old outfit was quite fierce, no? (Sorry for the crap quality of the photo and hey, it’s the old flat!) I think  I may prefer the old outfit (because I may have over-done it with the pink this time) but I think both are at least a little similar (tight pants, loose top). I’m certain I’ve worn the shoes with a dress or skirt before but I couldn’t find a photo. I have to go pack now — I’ll be back next Tuesday but I think I’ll manage one or two posts  from London, fingers crossed.
