I’ve actually been really good and haven’t been buying too much make-up lately.  I really don’t need any more make-up as I have loads already but every now and then I do treat myself.

My latest make-up purchase was this Sephora holiday eyeshadow set that I bought in the sales. There are 4 eye look books: the smokey eye, the nude eye, the party eye and the metallic eye.

My favorite so far is the Metallic eye look book because I love wearing gold eyeshadow with some darker shadow in the crease to compliment my ever present cat eye liner. I also like the Nude eye book. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a nude eye palette.

I haven’t tried the Party eye look book yet but I’m intrigued. I have green eyes and I’ve been told to wear purple eye shadow to emphasize the greenness  of my eyes, but it’s not a look I  would usually go for (I swear by the cat eye. It’s just so simple to do and there are so many possibilities!)

All-in-all I’m happy with this purchase. I wouldn’t have paid full price for it but in the sales I think it was a really good buy. I’ll definitely be using these products so that’s good!
