Sorry for the super long delay between posts, I got back from NYC on Tuesday night but it has been crazy since. Wednesday was spent half in bed (jet lag?) and half unpacking. Then I met up with my bestie for a double date and we went to Bruxx for dinner. I was a bit disappointed as they had changed the menu (and my favorite dandelion salad was on longer on it), but otherwise it was a very pleasant evening out.

As it was cold and rainy in Prague, I opted for a comfy outfit. Starring one of my favorite purchases from NYC:

These Michael Kors Hamilton loafers are insanely comfortable. I frequently wore them during our NYC visit and I’ll be sharing photos from the trip soon (when I have M‘s half). But back to the shoes, they are made from soft leather and I absolutely love the quilted look. I also think the little lock detail in the front is just adorable. I got them for 70 dollars (I think that’s about half off from the original retail price) at the Century 21 store in Manhattan.

I’ll be sharing the rest of my NYC purchases in a future post but to be completely honest I was expecting the prices to be lower. We did most of our shopping at Macy’s and at the Manhattan Mall and then a little wee bit at Century 21, and we stopped by Sephora as I wanted to buy the Urban Decay Electric palette.

Anyways, last night I wore the shoes and I also wore a new skirt (from Express), which I absolutely adore and think it will be one of my favorite skirts ever, otherwise I wore some old favorites: my hooded Pull&Bear fake leather jacket, Topshop belt, H&M black turtleneck and an old bag from Mango, which I haven’t worn in a while.

It was a great night and we were supposed to go out for wine tonight, but our place is booked full so we’ll have to take a rain check. I’m actually excited about being home, I have a few books to get through and it will be nice just to snuggle up and relax. See you soon, xo.
