I styled this outfit around this H&M beige coat with gold zippers. I’ve had this coat since the middle of winter, I bought it in the sales and have since been waiting for it to be warm enough for me to wear it. It was the last one there and it was a size bigger than I normally wear, but I prefer a relaxed fit sometimes.
This is quite a belated outfit post (the outfit in question is from the beginning of January, ops), I loved the outfit but I wasn’t in love with the photos. I labeled this dress unlucky for a reason (read the post here). Anyways, I’m pretty sure I wore this outfit to the cinema (not sure which movie, one of the Hobbit ones maybe?)
A few days ago M and I went to see the film “Chappie” and this is what I wore. It was a simple outfit as we had decided to go to the cinema last minute. My bestie stopped by at my flat earlier in the day and I gave her some clothes I was selling on Vinted (a bright pink winter coat and a few dresses) and some other dresses that I had in storage and hadn’t worn in ages. Anyways, amongst the dresses I gave away there were about three leopard print dresses and that definitely inspired me to wear this Asos leopard print dress that I had bought not long ago (about a month or two ago).

With little cinema options to choose from, M and I decided to go see the Kingsman film one more time. (I’m writing – or rather should be writing – my thesis paper of Pride and Prejudice film adaptations, so I’ve watched the 1995 BBC adaptation countless times and seeing a slightly older Mr. Darcy in an action flick is everything).
Last time I wore a Kingsman themed outfit, this time I went as a cat burgler. Because if you can’t be a spy, be a theif. No actually, we decided to go to the cinema very last minute and I had no time at all to put together an outfit and all-black seemed like an easy option.
Sometimes, even when I LOVE something, it takes me ages to wear it for the first time. Usually, that’s due to the weather, like if I buy a summer mini dress in the middle of winter. Sometimes, I find myself simply waiting for the perfect outfit for a particular item. That was the case of this cute clutch bag from New Look:
It’s funny writing this post as by the time it will appear on the blog, I will be in New York. I don’t really know what to expect from NYC, but I love autumn in Prague. Especially early autumn when it’s not so bloody cold. This outfit is from Sunday, when M and I went to have lunch with my bestie and then we did a spot of shopping and then I had to stop by work to finish up some loose ends. I was nearly running late so I had literally no time to really think about my outfit, let alone time to pick out shoes, so I just went with the simplest option – a pair of black ballet flats.
So, leopard print flats are one of my favorite types of flat shoes. I think they can take an outfit further than regular black flats, which I otherwise would constantly be wearing. The shoes pictured above are one of my favorites. They are by Blink and I love the cutesy bow and mouse face on the toe of the shoes – just adorable. You’ve seen them on this blog before:
Yesterday’s shoe purchase post got me thinking about leopard print shoes. Leo print is one of my all-time favorites on shoes. It is almost a “neutral” in my book. I counted that I have 29 pairs of leopard print shoes in my current collection. Anyways, I thought it would be nice to do a sort of tribute to/flashback of my leopard print shoes.
Let’s start with one of my favorites:
These shoes are from Miss Selfridge and I got them in 2011 when we were on vacation in London (I bought 14 pairs of shoes on that trip, crazy.) I’ll be honest and say they aren’t the most comfortable shoes in the world, but they are still amazing.
So we actually went to see “Sin City: A Dame to Kill for” earlier than I had hoped because my bestie called and we made a date of it and went shopping beforehand and then M met us at the cinema. I originally planned on wearing heels but in the end, I went for a casual outfit. Still not feeling my best and all that. Anyways, I usually like to coordinate my outfits with the movie I’m going to go see so I would have worn an all black and white outfit with some red detailing, and I almost stayed true to that notion, with the exception of my jeans being a dark blue. The most interesting part of my outfit is my Realitee t-shirt, which features a graphic print of New York City:
As I’ve mentioned before, I happen to actually really like autumn. One of the things I particularly love about autumn is autumn fashion! I love layers! I love wearing back opaque tights (or funky printed tights), I love scarves and shawls. I love wearing leather jackets and I also love trench coats. This is my favorite trench coat (H&M, bought in 2010):
This post will recall the various ways that I’ve worn this trench coat in the past and how I styled it. Thus answering the age old question How to wear a trench coat? Continue reading In the Trenches
